Dr. Sayed Peerzade has taken on the role of Executive Vice President – Cloud at Jio Platforms Limited (JPL). In this new position, Dr. Sayed Peerzade will lead JPL’s cloud and AI operations, focusing on enhancing existing services and developing groundbreaking digital solutions. His extensive experience, spanning over two decades, places him at the forefront of cloud technology, innovation, and strategic go-to-market initiatives. As part of the AI Ops team, Dr. Sayed aims to set new industry benchmarks in cloud services while driving transformative business outcomes for JPL.
Before joining JPL, Dr. Peerzade was Chief Cloud Officer at Yotta Data Services, where he spearheaded the development of India’s indigenous hyperscale cloud ecosystem, ‘Yantraa,’ and the revolutionary ‘Shakti AI Cloud,’ the country’s largest AI-HPC cloud system. His leadership was instrumental in positioning India as a global leader in cloud and AI technologies. Earlier in his career, Dr. Sayed Peerzade served as Group Chief Information Officer at Reliance Entertainment, where he played a key role in building Reliance Games and designing India’s first private cloud IaaS model.
With his expertise in cloud architecture, digital transformation, and AI, Dr. Sayed Peerzade’s vision aligns with JPL’s ambition to lead the next wave of digital innovation. His role in enhancing cloud products and presales channels will be critical in shaping the future of cloud and AI-driven technologies in India and beyond.
