Rahul Kapoor has been elevated as Vice President – Partnerships at The Trade Desk. With a professional journey spanning decades in media, ad tech, and strategic alliances, Kapoor brings with him extensive experience from renowned organisations such as Google India, Yahoo!, and NGC Networks India Pvt Ltd. In his new role, he will lead the publisher and data partnerships strategy, focusing on expanding inventory across CTV, OTT, audio, news, and other verticals.
Kapoor’s nearly 15-year stint at Google India saw him in several leadership capacities, including Director – Partnerships Solutions and Head – Strategic Partnerships. His tenure at the tech giant was marked by a strong focus on building long-term alliances and crafting innovative solutions that supported the growth of digital advertising across the open internet.
Earlier in his career, Kapoor worked with Yahoo! for close to four years, where he led national sales across critical sectors including telecom, travel, education, and government. Before Yahoo!, he held the position of Regional Head – North and East at NGC Networks India Pvt Ltd, overseeing operations and partnerships in key markets.
At The Trade Desk, Kapoor will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives around privacy-safe identity, retail media, data optimisation, and supply chain transparency. His leadership is expected to further enhance The Trade Desk’s role in accelerating the programmatic ecosystem in India and supporting premium, privacy-first advertising environments.
