Raushan Kumar has taken on a new role as Executive Vice President of Sales at OPG Mobility (formerly known as Okaya EV). With over two decades of experience in the energy and power sector, Raushan brings a proven track record in driving sales, leading business units, and fostering growth across top organizations in the renewable energy and power electronics space.
Prior to joining OPG Mobility, Raushan played a pivotal role at Livguard, where he served as Senior Vice President and earlier as Vice President heading the Solar Business Unit. During his tenure, he led strategic initiatives to elevate the company’s solar division, focusing on channel development, B2B sales, and customer experience design. His leadership was instrumental in expanding the company’s market reach and delivering strong top-line and bottom-line growth.
Raushan’s professional journey also includes impactful leadership roles at Kirloskar Solar, Havells India Ltd, and Amara Raja Group. At Kirloskar Solar, he held the position of AVP & Country Head, driving performance across sales, marketing, service, supply chain, and import-export functions. At Havells India and Amara Raja Group, he led key verticals and played a significant role in business expansion and operational efficiency in the inverter and solar divisions.
With an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Institute of Management Science and Productivity Research and a background in Environmental Science from Ramjas College, Raushan combines technical expertise with strategic vision. His new role at OPG Mobility will focus on accelerating the company’s EV sales and customer growth strategy, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable mobility solutions.
