Deloitte has announced the appointment of Ritwick Udayan as Executive Director, further strengthening its leadership bench with a seasoned growth strategist and transformation leader. In his new role, Ritwick will focus on driving market-led growth, portfolio transformation, and large-scale business turnarounds, leveraging experience-based, data-driven decision-making. His appointment reflects Deloitte’s continued emphasis on building strong leadership to support clients across complex, highly regulated industries.
With over two decades of leadership experience across Education Management, Healthcare, and BFSI, Ritwick has a proven track record of building and scaling businesses, optimizing operations, and delivering sustainable growth with strong governance. Prior to joining Deloitte, he served as Global Head of HMG Business at Husk Power, where he led the mini-grids business across India, Nigeria, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the USA. He has also held senior leadership roles as Business Head at TimesPro and Director – Head of Retail Business and Marketing at Healthspring, managing P&L ownership, digital transformation, new business set-ups, and customer experience initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Ritwick spent a significant tenure with the ICICI Group, where he held multiple senior roles across retail banking, unsecured lending, product management, channel management, and business leadership. His work included launching innovative digital lending solutions, restructuring products and processes to improve profitability, building high-performance teams, and delivering strong growth across CASA, loans, and fee-based businesses. He has also held leadership positions at Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance, further strengthening his credentials in BFSI and bancassurance.
An alumnus of FORE School of Management, New Delhi, Ritwick is known for his strengths in strategic planning, P&L management, stakeholder engagement, and people leadership. At Deloitte, he is expected to play a key role in helping organizations navigate growth, transformation, and value creation through strong execution, analytics-led insights, and long-term partnership with stakeholders.
