Sachin Gupta has joined Lenskart as Vice President – Marketing, bringing with him nearly two decades of diverse experience across performance marketing, user acquisition, and digital growth. With a proven track record in scaling digital-first businesses, Sachin is set to lead new customer marketing and growth initiatives at Lenskart, driving strategic campaigns to enhance brand outreach and market presence.
Before joining Lenskart, Sachin served as Senior Vice President – Marketing at Astrotalk, where he led a $4 million monthly marketing budget, focused on user acquisition and retention for one of India’s top astrology platforms. During his nearly four-year stint at Astrotalk, he also held the position of Vice President – Performance Marketing, playing a pivotal role in driving profitability and customer engagement.
Earlier in his career, Sachin held consulting responsibilities at OZiva, a Series B-funded clean-label nutrition brand, where he managed a $1.5 million monthly performance marketing budget and spearheaded digital campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Google, and Taboola. He also founded and led The Himalayan ROI, a performance marketing agency that catered to major clients like PayTM, Kotak, MamaEarth, and Flipkart Groceries, before it shut down due to COVID-19 disruptions. His earlier roles include Chief Marketing Officer at JungleWorks, where he played a key role in increasing revenue eightfold.
Sachin’s deep understanding of digital ecosystems, coupled with hands-on experience in both startup and enterprise environments, positions him well to contribute significantly to Lenskart’s continued growth journey. His appointment comes at a crucial time as the company accelerates its vision of expanding reach and building a strong digital marketing engine for the future.
