With a career that spans close to thirteen years at Flipkart, Sandeep’s appointment marks a strategic step in Coupang’s international expansion and its commitment to redefining consumer commerce across Asia. His deep-rooted experience in building and scaling businesses positions him well to lead Coupang’s ambitious operations in Taiwan.
At Flipkart, Sandeep held several high-impact leadership roles, including Vice President of Flipkart Ads Platform, Business Head for Fashion/Softlines, and Head of Flipkart Quick & Flipkart Wholesale. From managing multi-billion-dollar P&Ls to scaling new verticals from 0 to 1, he consistently delivered results while driving innovation at scale. He was instrumental in shaping Flipkart’s hyperlocal commerce strategy and oversaw key teams in product management, strategy, business development, and design.
Beyond Flipkart, Sandeep has served on the boards of prominent companies such as Walmart India Pvt Ltd, Wildcraft India, and Arvind Youth Brands Pvt Limited. His ability to lead cross-functional teams across business, product, engineering, finance, supply chain, and HR has been widely acknowledged.
