Sid’s Farm Secures $10M Series A Funding to Expand Premium Dairy Operations in Hyderabad and Bengaluru

Direct-to-consumer (D2C) dairy brand Sid’s Farm has secured $10 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Omnivore and the Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office (NSFO). The Telangana-based startup plans to use the investment to solidify its presence in Hyderabad and Bengaluru by enhancing its manufacturing capabilities to meet the increasing demand for premium dairy products. Additionally, the funds will be used to build a strong team and attract top talent across various functions.

Founded in 2016 by Dr. Kishore Indukuri, an IIT Kharagpur alumnus, Sid’s Farm is a premium dairy brand that oversees the entire value chain of milk and dairy products. The company sources directly from farmers and conducts stringent quality testing throughout the supply chain to ensure the delivery of nutrient-rich, additive-free milk.

Dr. Indukuri expressed delight in receiving significant support from Omnivore and the Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office, stating that their confidence in Sid’s Farm’s vision and commitment validates the company’s efforts. He emphasized that the investment would be crucial in accelerating growth and enabling the delivery of fresh, healthy, and responsibly sourced food to a broader audience in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, with an opportunity to serve over 100,000 families daily in these markets alone.

Sid’s Farm offers a wide range of products, including whole buffalo and cow milk, double-toned buffalo milk, buffalo and cow ghee, butter, curd, probiotic curd, paneer, doodh peda, buttermilk, and lassi. The company prides itself on controlling the entire value chain and ensuring rigorous quality standards are met at every step, providing consumers with high-quality dairy products free from additives.

A report by IMARC Group indicates that India’s dairy industry reached a size of ₹16,792 billion in 2023 and is projected to grow to ₹49,953 billion by 2032. The growth of premium dairy brands and products on D2C platforms is expected to drive this expansion. Reihem Roy, Partner at Omnivore, noted that Sid’s Farm is poised to become a key player in this space due to its commitment to providing antibiotic-free, hormone-free, preservative-free milk and dairy products.
