Cybersecurity veteran Sivakumar Subramanian has taken on a new challenge as the Vice President – Global Delivery Head, Cyber Security at HCL Technologies, starting May 2025. With over 25 years of experience in building high-performance technology units and a reputation for servant leadership, Sivakumar’s move marks a significant boost to HCLTech’s cybersecurity vision and global delivery capabilities.
Prior to this role, Siva had a distinguished 7-year tenure at Accenture, most recently serving as the Global Delivery Lead for Cyber Detection and Response Services under Cyber Resilience Practice. In this capacity, he steered strategy and operations across 22+ Cyber Fusion Centersand Security Operations Centers (SOCs) worldwide. He was instrumental in driving innovation through automation and GenAI capabilities in Adaptive MxDR services, ensuring scalability and excellence in client outcomes.
Earlier at Accenture, Siva played multiple transformational roles, including Managing Director for Cyber Protection and Integrated Cloud Security Services (ICSS), where he incubated cloud security delivery across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. His leadership in managed security services saw him manage a 2000+ strong global team serving 150+ enterprise clients.
As an Industry Academia Champion, Siva is also a speaker at National and International Cybersecurity conferences and contributing to curriculum design as a Board of Studies (BoS) member at Reva University. He brings a strong mix of Business Acumen, Delivery Strategy Development & Execution to his new role at HCLTech.
