Max Healthcare has appointed Surbhi Khera as its new Vice President of Human Resources, effective August 2024. In her new role, Khera will be pivotal in steering the company’s HR strategies and enhancing its talent acquisition practices under the leadership of Mr. Umesh Gupta.
Khera brings over two decades of extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on talent acquisition across diverse sectors. Her career journey includes significant tenures at leading organizations such as Cancer Treatment Services Hyderabad, Apollo Hospitals, and Quadrangle, a division of Info Edge India Ltd. and a sister concern of Naukri.com.
Prior to joining Max Healthcare, Khera served as Senior General Manager of Human Resources and Chief of Staff at Cancer Treatment Services Hyderabad, a Siemens Healthineer’s entity. Her leadership in this role was instrumental in managing human resources functions and strategic initiatives within the organization.
At Apollo Hospitals, where she held the position of General Manager of Human Resources (Talent Acquisition), Khera played a crucial role in recruiting top-tier talent and developing effective HR strategies. Her work contributed significantly to the organization’s growth and operational efficiency during her tenure.
Before Apollo Hospitals, Khera was with Quadrangle for over a decade, where she advanced from Practice Head of the Healthcare Vertical to Vice President. Her accomplishments at Quadrangle include leading end-to-end recruitment processes and managing key accounts in the healthcare sector, further establishing her as a prominent figure in HR management.
Khera’s professional journey began at Ma Foi Randstad, where she was a Senior Consultant specializing in BFSI sector recruitment. Her role involved managing end-to-end recruitment processes and building talent databases, which laid a strong foundation for her future roles in human resources.
