COWI has appointed Vidya Basarkod as Managing Director of the company’s operations in India. Vidya Basarkod will focus on elevating the company’s presence in India in support of large-scale international engineering projects with a focus on sustainability.
COWI, an international engineering consulting group, has appointed Vidya Basarkod as Managing Director of COWI in India. In addition, she will join COWI’s Executive Leadership Team as the leader of the company’s engineering and design centres worldwide.
Vidya holds degrees in civil and structural engineering, and she has more than 30 years of senior management experience from international engineering companies, building global competency centres with expertise in core engineering. Her latest position was as Managing Director of Rambøll in India.
