Alvarez & Marsal has elevated Vishal Dashora to the role of Senior Director, recognizing his strong track record in strategy, investments, and performance improvement across the Industrials and Logistics sector. In his expanded role, Vishal will continue to advise clients on P&L management, business development, and complex transformation programs, with a sharp focus on value creation across infrastructure-intensive businesses.
Vishal brings deep domain expertise across supply chain management, logistics infrastructure, and manufacturing, including ports and shipping, railways, inland waterways, multimodal logistics parks, and warehousing. Prior to his elevation, he served as Director at Alvarez & Marsal, where he led multiple engagements in investments and due diligence, supporting clients through strategic evaluations, growth initiatives, and operational improvement programs.
Before joining A&M, Vishal spent nearly five years at PwC India as Associate Director, where he worked closely with government agencies and private sector clients to drive adoption of inland waterways for freight movement. His work included conceptualizing and executing large-scale pilot movements, shaping go-to-market strategies, and contributing to policy frameworks and incentive mechanisms. He also led investment, bidding, and logistics performance improvement projects across pharma and automotive sectors.
Earlier in his career, Vishal held senior leadership roles at Jindal Steel & Power, where he led end-to-end logistics and shipping operations for over 25 MTPA across multiple plants, mines, and ports, while also evaluating strategic investments in logistics infrastructure. An alumnus of the Indian School of Business, Vishal is known for his strong client engagement skills, ability to operate across entrepreneurial and structured environments, and his hands-on approach to delivering measurable performance outcomes.
