The Times of India (BCCL) has announced the appointment of Anurag Agrawal as Director – Response (West). Agrawal brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as Group Chief Executive Officer at Sakshi Media Group. His appointment marks a return to BCCL, where he previously held the position of Senior Vice President and Regional Head – Response (North) for approximately eight years.
Agrawal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication from BIT and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from IIM Lucknow, with specializations in Strategy and Marketing. Over his career spanning more than three decades, he has accumulated extensive experience across Telecom, Banking, DTH, IT, and Media sectors. Notable roles include leadership positions at Tata Teleservices, Tata Sky, Reliance Infocom, ICICI, and Vodafone.
His career is distinguished by a focus on innovative business models, cutting-edge advertising solutions, and customer engagement strategies. Agrawal’s leadership has been instrumental in driving top-line growth, achieving business turnarounds, and expanding market share. At Sakshi Media Group, he successfully led the transformation into a modern, digitally-oriented media organization.
In his new role at The Times of India, Agrawal will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and enhancing the publication’s market presence in the West region.
