IFFCO Tokio General Insurance Co. Ltd., one of India’s leading insurance providers, has appointed Durgesh Nandan P. as the new Executive Vice President. With over 15 years of dedicated service to IFFCO Tokio, Durgesh Nandan has been a key figure in shaping the company’s IT and digital infrastructure. Prior to his promotion, he served as Vice President of IT for nearly 16 years, overseeing crucial technological transformations at the company’s headquarters in Gurgaon, India.
In his new role as Executive Vice President, Durgesh Nandan will continue to spearhead the company’s Information Technology (IT) and Management Information Systems (MIS) initiatives, further solidifying IFFCO Tokio’s position in the competitive insurance sector. His leadership will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening the company’s digital strategy, and improving customer experience through innovative IT solutions.
Before joining IFFCO Tokio, Durgesh Nandan gained extensive experience in IT and consultancy with various leading organizations. He held the role of Senior Solution Architect at Encora Inc. from May 2008 to February 2009, contributing to the company’s IT framework in India. Prior to that, he worked as Senior Solution Architect at Max New York Life in Gurgaon and IBM India, where he was instrumental in driving strategic IT initiatives.
His career also includes time at Oracle as a Senior Consultant for Vodafone MSM and as a Senior Consultant in Finsbury, London. His international exposure and vast experience in tech-driven industries have been integral to his success in leading large-scale IT projects.
Durgesh Nandan’s appointment marks a new era of leadership at IFFCO Tokio, where he will continue to support the company’s growth and ensure that its IT capabilities remain at the forefront of the insurance industry.
