BlueStone has appointed Gaurav Sachdeva as its new Chief Retail Officer. Sachdeva, who brings over two decades of experience in retail and business development, joins BlueStone after an impressive 11-year tenure at Bestseller India, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the company’s retail footprint.
Sachdeva’s journey in the retail industry has been marked by significant accomplishments across several leading companies. He began his career in retail with VF Corporation, where he served as an Area Retail Manager from 2006 to 2008, managing key markets in Bangalore, New Delhi, and Mumbai.
Following his time at VF Corporation, he moved to Puma, taking on the role of Regional Retail Manager for over four years. During his tenure at Puma, Sachdeva was instrumental in expanding the brand’s presence in Northern India and enhancing sales management practices.
In 2013, Sachdeva joined Hero Cycles Ltd as Head of Retail, overseeing retail operations across the country. His leadership at Hero Cycles was marked by the development and execution of innovative retail strategies that significantly enhanced the company’s market position.
His most notable role prior to joining BlueStone was at Bestseller India, where he held multiple leadership positions. Initially joining as National Sales Head in 2013, he was later promoted to Head of Retail for EBO (Exclusive Brand Outlets) and SIS (Shop-in-Shop) formats.
At BlueStone, Sachdeva will be responsible for overseeing the brand’s retail operations and driving the company’s growth strategy in the highly competitive jewelry market. His appointment comes at a crucial time as BlueStone aims to expand its retail presence across India and enhance the customer experience in its stores.
