CoinDCX, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the promotion of Mridul Gupta to Founding Partner. This new role will see Gupta focusing on the company’s growth objectives, particularly its international expansion, team development, and profitability. He will continue to oversee the Indian market, enhancing CoinDCX’s product offerings, marketing strategies, partnerships, and operations as part of the firm’s strategic growth plans.
Gupta joined CoinDCX in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer, where he played a pivotal role in developing compliant crypto investment and trading products. His promotion comes at a significant time for the company, which has recently embarked on an expansion into the Middle East and North Africa region through the acquisition of BitOasis.

An Electrical Engineering graduate from IIT Delhi, Mridul Gupta has approximately 15 years of experience in business, product, and strategy roles across India and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining CoinDCX, he served as Chief Strategy Officer at Pine Labs and has also worked with Stellaris Venture Partners, Goldman Sachs, and various startups. His extensive background in scaling fintech organizations and his advocacy for the role of crypto in shaping a decentralized economy will be instrumental as CoinDCX moves forward.
