OYO Launches First Luxury Hotel in Dubai to Cater to Growing Indian Tourism

Hospitality chain OYO has unveiled its first luxury hotel in Dubai, the Palette Royal Reflections Hotel and Spa. This launch aligns with OYO’s anticipation of significant growth in Indian tourism to Dubai, driven by relaxed visa policies. The company expects over 100,000 Indian tourists to visit this year. In 2023, Dubai welcomed 11.9 million visitors, with India leading in entries, followed by Saudi Arabia with 6.7 million and the UK with 5.9 million tourists.

“The growing affluence, Dubai’s image as a luxury destination, and the Indian tourists’ desire for exclusive experiences are set to boost demand for premium hotels in Dubai. We’ve noticed an increasing number of Indian tourists seeking luxury accommodations here. OYO aims to cater to this demand through our latest initiative,” said Nitin Gupta, Business Head, OYO Middle East. This move is part of OYO’s broader strategy to expand its premium property portfolio globally, including in the Middle East.

The Palette Royal Reflections Hotel and Spa will offer tailored packages and services to Indian tourists, including authentic Indian cuisine, traditional hospitality, and support with travel arrangements and sightseeing tours. OYO’s other Palette properties include Palette Resort at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, USA; Palette Siniya Island Resorts in Umm Al Quwain, UAE; and Palette Grand Morocc in Thailand. In the UAE, OYO boasts over 700 properties, with more than 200 located in Dubai alone.
