Piyusha Singh has been appointed as Executive Director at UBS. In her new role, Singh will be based in Pune, Maharashtra, and will focus on Markets Regulations and Investment Banking.
Singh’s career is marked by her extensive expertise in data engineering, data analytics, and dashboard management. Prior to joining UBS, she served as Senior Vice President at Citi, where she made significant contributions over a six-year period. At Citi, Singh played a pivotal role, progressing from Vice President to Senior Vice President, overseeing key initiatives that enhanced the company’s market position.
Before her tenure at Citi, Singh held leadership roles at Barclays, where she was deeply involved in Market Risk management. Her career also includes substantial experience as a Project Lead at Portware, a FactSet company, where she led crucial projects that contributed to the firm’s technological advancements. Additionally, Singh has a strong technical foundation, having worked as a Software Designer at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Singh’s technical proficiency is comprehensive, encompassing Big Data, Pyspark, data modeling, Oracle databases, and performance tuning. Her expertise extends to various facets of business intelligence, including Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and Oracle Data Integrator, making her a versatile leader in the field.
