Project Management Institute (PMI), the global authority for project professionals, has appointed Amit Goyal as Regional Managing Director, South Asia. Based in New Delhi, India, Goyal will lead efforts to enhance project success and drive impact across the region. His role focuses on fostering a cohesive team to support PMI’s South Asia community, comprising 11 chapters aimed at advancing career opportunities and collaboration among members.
Amit Goyal brings extensive experience from diverse industries, notably education, where he previously served as Country Manager for edX India. His leadership includes pivotal roles at Samsung and involvement in pioneering initiatives such as the launch of the “Aakash” Tablet PC project, aimed at bridging India’s digital divide. Goyal’s track record in driving innovation and accessibility in technology and education aligns with PMI’s mission to advance project management capabilities globally.
