TransUnion is delighted to announce the appointment of Puneet Talwar as the new Vice President. This appointment underscores Puneet’s impressive track record in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and business transformation.
Puneet Talwar joins TransUnion from JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he served as Executive Director – Quantitative Modeling for nearly seven years. His leadership in quantitative modeling and analytics significantly contributed to the company’s success, reflecting his deep expertise in credit and risk management.
Prior to his tenure at JPMorgan, Puneet was the CEO of CARE Risk Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of CARE Ratings. During his time at CARE Risk Solutions, he played a pivotal role in growing CARE Kalypto, a specialized risk technology company. His efforts in expanding the company’s geographical reach and diversifying its industry partnerships were instrumental in establishing its market presence.
Puneet’s career also includes notable roles at IBM and Wipro Infotech Ltd. At IBM, he was responsible for enterprise risk management, advanced analytics, and core banking processes, focusing on significant vertical domain initiatives.
Puneet Talwar holds an MBA in General Management from Ivey Business School at Western University, which complements his extensive experience in risk management, banking, and business transformation. His educational background and professional achievements position him as a strategic leader at TransUnion, where he will drive innovation and business benefits through AI and ML technologies.
