FCB Group India appointed Punit Kr. Singh as their new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), a role in which he will drive strategic innovation and brand growth across the organization. With over two decades of experience in branding, marketing, and communications, Singh brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new position, further strengthening FCB India’s leadership team.
Before joining FCB Group India, Punit served as the Head of Planning for Strategy, Brand, Digital, and Communications (North) at Dentsu Creative, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction for various brands.
He spent over seven years at MullenLowe Lintas Group, where he held the position of Senior Vice President – Strategy and Digital Integration. In this role, he led strategic initiatives for Google India on various products such as Google Search, Google Voice, Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google My Business.
In addition to his time at MullenLowe Lintas Group, Punit served as the Head of Marketing for Next Day Delivery at AskmeBazaar, one of India’s largest e-commerce platforms. There, he was instrumental in developing and executing a hyper-local marketing model that resulted in a 200% month-on-month growth for the Next Day Delivery service.
Punit’s journey also includes his role as Client Leader Digital – North at Maxus, where he managed a P&L north of US$ 25 million. His leadership was crucial in transitioning the agency from a media-centric to a full-service agency, enhancing its creative and communication strategy capabilities.
Punit Kr. Singh’s educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology. His combination of technical expertise and strategic acumen makes him a valuable addition to the FCB Group India team.
