Amber Enterprises India Limited has announced the appointment of Rahul Mehandiratta as Vice President & Group Head – HR & IR. In this strategic role, Rahul will oversee human resources and industrial relations, driving key initiatives in talent management and organizational development across the company.
Rahul Mehandiratta has been with Amber Enterprises for nearly two years. Prior to his promotion, he served as AVP & Group Head HR & IR since November 2022. During his tenure, Rahul managed HR operations for 30 plants across nine states, leading a team of approximately 80 HR professionals and overseeing a workforce of 2,000 white-collar and 15,000 blue-collar employees.
Before joining Amber Enterprises, Rahul was the Head HR (General Manager) at Sanden Vikas India Pvt. Ltd. from May 2017 to December 2022. In this role, he was responsible for HR policies, talent acquisition, and cost optimization across multiple plants and warehouses. Among his notable achievements were de-registering a union, optimizing manpower, and implementing various HR digitalization projects.
Rahul also served as the Associate Vice President – Corporate HR at Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd from November 2014 to February 2016, and as the Senior Manager – Human Resources at CLAAS India Pvt Ltd from April 2008 to November 2014. At CLAAS, he played a crucial role in HR policy deployment, talent management, and employee engagement.
In his new role at Amber Enterprises, Rahul Mehandiratta is expected to continue leveraging his extensive experience and strategic vision to drive HR initiatives that support the company’s growth and operational excellence.
