Raja Roy has been appointed as an Honorary Member of the Advisory Board of Generative AI at the Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM).
Raja Roy is a well-established figure in the world of digital transformation, with over 22 years of leadership experience spanning across India and the USA. His career has been defined by a series of high-impact roles in some of the most respected companies in the technology and consulting sectors.
Currently, Roy serves as the Vice President and Global Head of Digital Transformation at Tech Mahindra, where he has been instrumental in shaping the company’s digital strategy. Under his leadership, Tech Mahindra has seen remarkable growth, with a 30% year-over-year increase across sales, solutions, go-to-market strategies, and branding.
Before his tenure at Tech Mahindra, Roy held various leadership positions in prominent organizations. He was the Business Unit Head of Enterprise Solutions at Tech Mahindra, where he managed a P&L of $150 million and demonstrated consistent organic growth. Prior to that, he was a Product Manager at CoachUp, a company renowned for connecting athletes with coaches, where he played a key role in scaling the product during its early stages.
Roy’s career also includes significant stints at Blink Consulting and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). At Blink Consulting, he served as the Practice Manager – Enterprise Solutions, where he led and executed consulting projects on technology and business process transformation across multiple industries. At TCS, Roy was a Program Manager, responsible for managing flagship projects in technology implementation and business process consulting across global teams.
Roy’s educational background further complements his professional achievements. He holds an MBA with Distinction in Global Business, focusing on IT Strategy and Marketing from Brandeis International Business School, and has completed a program in Design Driven Leadership and Human Centered Design from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
