Zee Media Corporation Limited (ZMCL) has appointed Rajesh Sareen as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). With over two decades of experience in the media and advertising industries, Sareen is set to bring his extensive knowledge and strategic expertise to ZMCL.
Currently serving as the Head of Revenue for the CNBC & CNN News Cluster at Network18 Media, Sareen has been instrumental in managing TV and digital revenue for English and business news channels. His career highlights include leading revenue operations for Network18’s regional language news cluster, driving sales across TV and digital platforms, and forming key partnerships with advertisers.
Sareen’s impressive track record includes leadership roles at Disney Star, Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (Times Group), and HT Media Ltd., where he managed large teams and led strategies for revenue growth across various platforms. His experience spans across multiple sectors, including media marketing, FMCG, and consumer electronics.
Sareen holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Punjab University, further adding to his credentials as a seasoned media professional. His appointment at ZMCL is expected to bolster the company’s revenue strategies as it navigates the competitive media landscape.
