UltraTech Cement proudly announces the appointment of Rana Dey as the new Joint Executive President & Unit Head. With a robust background in operations and business management, Rana brings a wealth of experience in the chemical and ceramics industries to his new role.
Before his current appointment at UltraTech Cement, he served as the Joint President & Unit Head at the same company from January 2024 to June 2024. His leadership was instrumental in overseeing operations at Bela Cement Works, MP, where he demonstrated strong capabilities in business strategy and organizational transformation.
Rana’s extensive experience includes a significant tenure at Vesuvius, where he served as General Manager (Unit Head) from January 2015 to November 2018. During this period, he was responsible for end-to-end operations, focusing on lean manufacturing, safety, quality, delivery, and cost management.
Earlier in his career, Rana held various positions at Hindalco Industries Limited, culminating in his role as Production Manager, where he managed the production of fine chemicals in a World Class Manufacturing (WCM) environment.
