Shailendra Singh, a key player in the investment sector and Managing Director of Peak XV, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the US India Strategic and Partnership Forum (USISPF). He oversees the firm’s global operations, managing assets worth over USD 9 billion.
At Peak XV, Shailendra has been instrumental in promoting cross-border collaborations and investments, driving technological advancements, and supporting entrepreneurship in the technology, consumer, and financial industries. USISPF president and CEO Mukesh Aghi remarked, “His extensive industry knowledge and dedication to founders in India and Southeast Asia will be invaluable. We eagerly anticipate benefiting from his insights.”
Singh, who was listed in Forbes’ Midas List of top global venture capitalists for three consecutive years (2018-2020), expressed his enthusiasm about the new role, saying, “I am excited to work with fellow board members and use our combined expertise to enhance the US-India relationship for founders and startups in both regions.”
In 2024, several other distinguished leaders also joined the USISPF Board. These include Salil Parekh, CEO of Infosys; Arvind Krishna, Chairman and CEO of IBM; and Dorothy Attwood, Senior Vice President of Global Legal, Policy, and Compliance for The Walt Disney Company. The Board also welcomed Amarjyoti (Amar) Barua, Executive Vice President of Group Strategy at the Mahindra Group; Joe Ucuzoglu, Deloitte Global CEO; Raj Shah, Co-CEO of MSI Surfaces; Alex Rogers, President of Global Affairs and Qualcomm Technology Licensing for Qualcomm Incorporated; and Prashant Ruia, Director of Essar Capital.
