Siddhartha Ghosal Appointed as Country President of Dow India

Siddhartha Ghosal has been appointed as the new Country President of Dow Chemical International Private Limited (Dow India), with the role becoming effective from January 1, 2025. He will succeed Chandrakant Nayak, who is set to retire by the end of this year. Siddhartha Ghosal’s vast experience within the company and industry positions him well to steer Dow India through its next phase of growth.

With this transition, Siddhartha will focus on driving Dow India’s expansion in material science, prioritizing key areas such as innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric strategies. A significant part of his leadership will also include fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment, aligning with Dow India’s broader vision of creating equitable workplace dynamics.

Under his leadership, the company is expected to place significant emphasis on operational efficiency and strengthening customer relationships. Siddhartha Ghosal will spearhead initiatives that not only enhance the company’s internal culture but also align its goals with sustainable practices that benefit both the company and its clients.

In addition to his new role, Siddhartha Ghosal continues to serve as the site director for Dow India Technology Centre in Navi Mumbai. With over two decades of industry experience, including several years at Dow, his contributions have been vital across various geographies and business units. His expertise spans business development, R&D, and strategic planning, making him a key asset for Dow India’s growth trajectory.
