In a significant career move, Suchit Vaz has joined Axis Bank as the Senior Managing Partner for the West region under the Burgundy Private division. With over 20 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, Suchit brings a wealth of expertise in managing high-net-worth clients and leading diverse sales and operations teams. His extensive background in P&L management, retail banking, and wealth management solutions makes him a valuable addition to Axis Bank’s leadership team.
Before joining Axis Bank, Suchit held the position of Branch Banking Head for Mumbai in Affluent Banking at Citi India, where he spent over 15 years. His career has been marked by a strong focus on delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth across various roles at prominent financial institutions like HDFC Bank, BNP Paribas, and WNS Global Services. In his new role, Suchit will be responsible for further strengthening Axis Bank’s presence in the West region, leveraging his deep industry knowledge and leadership acumen.
