Sunil Kapoor Takes Charge as Chief Risk Officer at Future Generali India Life Insurance

Future Generali India Life Insurance has appointed Sunil Kapoor as its new Chief Risk Officer (CRO). In this role, Kapoor will lead the Risk and Information Security Function, playing a crucial role in strengthening the company’s risk management framework.

Kapoor will report directly to Alok Rungta, Managing Director and CEO of Future Generali India Life Insurance. His responsibilities as CRO include enhancing and maintaining robust risk management procedures to ensure the company’s resilience and security in a dynamic industry environment.

With over 20 years of experience in risk management, Kapoor brings a wealth of expertise from his previous roles at leading financial institutions such as SBI Capital Markets, HDFC, IDFC Bank, and CCIL. His qualifications include being a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), an Associate Company Secretary (ACS), and holding the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and DISA certifications from GARP, USA.

Sunil Kapoor’s extensive background and credentials make him a valuable addition to Future Generali India Life Insurance as the company continues to prioritize effective risk management strategies.
