Trellix, a leading cybersecurity firm specializing in extended detection and response (XDR) solutions, has appointed Ganesh Iyer as the Managing Director for India and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region. Iyer, a veteran with over 20 years of industry experience, will be responsible for expanding Trellix’s business operations and driving sales across this critical region.
Iyer brings a wealth of experience in scaling sales and transforming operations, having held leadership roles at firms such as Nutanix, Microsoft, and VMware. His new role at Trellix will focus on addressing the region’s growing cybersecurity challenges, particularly in the areas of cloud, networks, and endpoints.
Prior to joining Trellix, Iyer spent over six years at Nutanix, where he significantly grew the company’s business in India, particularly within the government sector. His experience will be pivotal as Trellix navigates the evolving cybersecurity threat landscape in India and neighboring countries.
