Ultraviolette Automotive has announced the appointment of Vinayak Bhat as its new Chief Product Officer (CPO). Bhat, who has a strong background in aerospace and electric mobility, will spearhead the expansion of Ultraviolette’s product portfolio and guide its entry into new international markets.
Expressing his enthusiasm about his new role, Bhat stated, “I’ve witnessed Ultraviolette’s unwavering pursuit of innovation. My goal is to craft exceptional products for global markets through our strategy of vertical integration. We aim to set new benchmarks and establish Ultraviolette as a global leader in electric mobility.”
Bhat previously served as the Technical Director and Principal Engineer at Ultraviolette, where he played a crucial role in the development of the F77 Mach 2 and F99 Racing Platform. His responsibilities included coordinating product development, engineering, operations, and manufacturing.

Bhat’s career began in 2013 at ISRO as a structural engineer, followed by a role as a design analyst at Safran Engineering, where he contributed to projects for Airbus and Boeing. He also co-founded a startup specializing in drivetrain and battery technology, laying the groundwork for his continued work in electric mobility.
Ultraviolette aims to strengthen its global presence in electric mobility by introducing new products across various segments over the next five years, both locally and internationally. Bhat’s appointment aligns with the company’s ambitious vision and strategic goals.
