Yes Bank has announced the appointment of Manish Jain as an Additional Director and Executive Director on its board for a three-year term. Jain, with over 30 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, will play a pivotal role in strengthening Yes Bank’s wholesale banking division.
Prior to this, Jain was the Managing Director and Co-Head of Corporate Commercial & Institutional Banking (CCIB) at Standard Chartered Bank, where he developed expertise in transaction banking, supply chain finance, and institutional banking. His career also includes leadership roles at Ernst & Young Consulting, GE India, and Maruti Suzuki, adding to his diverse industry experience.
Prashant Kumar, Managing Director and CEO of Yes Bank, emphasized that Jain’s appointment aligns with the bank’s strategy to enhance its wholesale banking capabilities and accelerate growth. Jain is expected to contribute significantly in delivering value to the bank’s institutional clients.
