Vishwa Samudra Group has announced the appointment of Abhishek Jalan as its new Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With over 22 years of extensive experience in finance, including expertise in mergers & acquisitions, fund raising, and corporate restructuring, Jalan brings invaluable knowledge to the team.
Jalan, a graduate in B Tech & PGDBM, has honed his skills in financial modelling, business planning, audit, and risk controls throughout his career. He has held successful positions at esteemed organizations such as the Future Group, 7-Eleven India, and Embee Vyapaar.
Executive Director Shivdutt Das expressed confidence in Jalan’s abilities, stating, “Abhishek’s profound understanding of finance and strategic vision perfectly align with our growth objectives. His appointment will play a pivotal role in guiding Vishwa Samudra Group’s future endeavors.”
In his capacity as Group CFO, Jalan will be responsible for overseeing finances, estates, regulatory compliance, legal matters, and central treasury. Based in Mumbai, he will closely collaborate with Shivdutt Das to drive the group’s financial strategy.
