IndiaFirst Life Insurance Company Ltd has appointed Varun Gupta as President & Chief Distribution Officer (CDO) – Bancassurance and Sumeet Sahni as President & Chief Distribution Officer (CDO) – Agency & Alliances. These appointments are part of IndiaFirst Life’s strategy to expand its distribution network and align with its growth plans.
Varun Gupta brings over 27 years of experience in building businesses, having previously held key leadership roles at Max Life Insurance for more than 23 years. In his new role, he will lead IndiaFirst Life’s Bancassurance partnerships and foster new relationships to strengthen the distribution network.
Sumeet Sahni, with over 26 years of experience in the life insurance industry, has been associated with Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, and Max Life Insurance. He has a proven track record in building and scaling up agency and partnership channels, driving business growth and profitability, and leading large and diverse teams. In his new role, he will be responsible for building the Agency & Alliances channel at IndiaFirst Life.
