Prior to this, he served as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Fanatics Commerce, where he played a crucial role in developing the Fanatics Cloud Commerce Platform, an advanced e-commerce solution known for its personalized, real-time shopping experiences. His contributions helped position Fanatics as a leader in the e-commerce industry.

Ramana Thumu’s career also includes a significant tenure at eBay, where he spent ten years working on the company’s data, advertising, fraud, and personalization platforms. These innovations were instrumental in eBay’s global growth and helped enhance its customer experience.

As he takes on his new role at Expedia, Ramana Thumu is set to leverage his extensive experience in technology leadership to further enhance the company’s position as a leader in travel innovation.
