Shuva Mandal has been appointed as an Additional Independent Director on the Board of Network18 Media & Investments Ltd. Mandal, a seasoned legal expert with over two decades of experience, will hold the position for five years. Mandal steps into this role following the tenure of Dhruv Subodh Kaji, who served as an Additional Director for two terms. Known for his proficiency across diverse sectors such as commodities, automotive, retail, financial services, healthcare, aviation, and infrastructure, Mandal brings a wealth of industry knowledge to his new position. Before founding his own firm, Anagram Partners, Shuva Mandal served as the Group General Counsel for Tata Sons, the principal holding company of the Tata Group. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in navigating complex legal landscapes, providing strategic counsel, and managing large-scale mergers and acquisitions.
Mandal also held the position of Senior Partner at two of India’s most prestigious law firms, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. and AZB & Partners. In these roles, he led significant legal initiatives, advising corporate giants on private equity investments, corporate litigation, and regulatory compliance. His work has left a lasting impact across various industries, making him a respected figure in the legal community.
