With over a decade of experience, Varun previously managed the Franklin India Technology Fund during his tenure at Franklin Templeton India. His work included in-depth equity research and fund management in the technology and internet sectors. Additionally, he contributed significantly to ICICI Securities, where he specialized in equity research, further solidifying his expertise in the financial domain.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Varun holds a PGDM in Finance and also completed an exchange program at Copenhagen Business School. At Motilal Oswal, he will focus on driving digital investment strategies and expanding the company’s innovative offerings, such as the Motilal Digital India Fund, aligning with the growing demand for tech-driven portfolios.
