Beena Pothen has been elevated to Division President, West Southeast Asia at Mastercard, expanding their leadership responsibilities across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei and Myanmar. With nearly 16 years at Mastercard, they bring extensive experience in regional strategy, business development and stakeholder engagement across diverse markets. Previously, she served as Country Manager for Malaysia and Brunei, driving business growth and strengthening partnerships across the payments ecosystem. Her earlier leadership roles include Country Business Development Head for the UAE and several regional and market-level positions in acceptance and account management.
