Paul Monnington has been appointed as Division President, Australasia at Mastercard, bringing extensive experience across payments, financial services, digital transformation and business strategy. Based in Sydney, he will lead Mastercard’s business across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, overseeing divisional growth and engagement with key partners, governments and regulators. Before taking on this role, Paul served as Managing Director of Wpay and held senior financial services and payments leadership positions at Woolworths Group. His earlier experience includes serving as Digital Director at Ubank, Senior Director at Oracle and Director at Deloitte Consulting.
