Ronak Shah appointed as Regional Chief Executive Officer, APAC at MSIG Asia, part of MS&AD Insurance Group

Ronak Shah has been appointed as Regional Chief Executive Officer, APAC at MSIG Asia, part of MS&AD Insurance Group, bringing extensive experience in general insurance, specialty risk and regional business leadership. In his new role, he will lead MSIG’s general insurance business across Asia Pacific, focusing on sustainable growth, stronger commercial and specialty franchises, and expanding consumer and partnership businesses. Before joining MSIG Asia, Ronak served as CEO, Wholesale Markets Asia at QBE Insurance and previously led QBE Singapore as Chief Executive Officer for six years. His earlier leadership roles include Regional Head of Financial & Professional and Casualty Lines, Asia Pacific at QBE, Regional Director at JLT Group, Vice President at Allied World and senior positions at WTW and Marsh.
