Adani Enterprises Limited and US-based Jabil have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a 50:50 joint venture focused on manufacturing equipment for AI and data centres in India.
The proposed venture will manufacture AI racks, servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and power and cooling systems. These products form a critical part of the infrastructure required to support the growing demand for AI computing and data centre capacity.
The partnership aims to develop multi-gigawatt manufacturing capacity to serve India's domestic market and global export opportunities. The initiative could strengthen India's role in the supply chain for AI and data centre infrastructure.
Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said the move would help the group expand beyond powering and hosting AI infrastructure to manufacturing the critical systems that support the global AI economy.
The proposed joint venture remains subject to regulatory approvals and the execution of definitive agreements.
