Anish Sarkar has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at NIIT Limited, effective October 14, 2026, succeeding Pankaj Jathar. He brings extensive leadership experience across technology, digital services, human capital consulting, and business development, positioning him to support NIIT’s next phase of growth in skills and talent development.

Prior to this appointment, Sarkar served as Managing Director (India) and Director for the India, Philippines, and Indonesia cluster at Pluxee, formerly Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services. He also served as CEO of Mercer India, leading the human capital consulting business. His cross-sector experience spans business leadership, employee benefits, and organisational development.
