Ashish Kishore Rao has been appointed as Chief Risk Officer at Equirus Capital. In this role, he will focus on strengthening enterprise risk management, and risk oversight, bringing extensive expertise in financial risk, crisis management, and strategic decision-making across global financial markets.

Ashish joins Equirus Capital following senior risk leadership roles at UBS and Credit Suisse, where he advised senior executives on risk and priorities, led regional risk oversight, and managed large-scale financing and wealth management portfolios. At Credit Suisse, he served as Head of Financial Risk Oversight for Global Wealth Management and held leadership positions across the Asia Pacific region. Earlier in his career, he held various roles at Citigroup and Standard Chartered, building expertise in credit risk, structured finance, portfolio management, and corporate banking.
