Balaji Nuthalapadi elevated to Interim CEO of Equitas Small Finance Bank

Balaji Nuthalapadi has been elevated to Interim CEO of Equitas Small Finance Bank. He currently serves as Executive Director – Technology and Operations at the bank, a position he assumed in March 2025. In his interim leadership role, he will draw on his extensive experience in banking operations, technology and business management. He brings nearly three decades of experience from Citi, where he held several senior leadership positions, including Managing Director and Head of Operations & Technology for Citi South Asia, and Head of Citi Solutions Centres in India.
