Kanhaiya Sheth Named Citi India's Head of Tax

Kanhaiya Sheth has been elevated to Director – Head of Tax, India Subcontinent at Citi India, where he will lead the tax function across the region, overseeing tax strategy and governance. He brings nearly two decades of experience in financial services, taxation and financial management, having spent over 16 years at Citi India in progressive leadership roles, including Manager, Assistant Vice President, Vice President and Senior Vice President.

Prior to joining Citi India, Kanhaiya served as Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young India, gaining experience in consulting and tax-related services. His professional journey reflects strong expertise in taxation, financial services and regulatory management.
