Nagaraju Maddirala has been appointed as Chairman and Managing Director at IL&FS Financial Services Ltd (IFIN), following the completion of Nand Kishore’s tenure on September 30, 2026. The appointment was confirmed by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on October 12, 2026, as IL&FS continues its restructuring under a government-appointed board.

A 1993-batch IAS officer and former Secretary of Financial Services, Maddirala was appointed to the IL&FS board by an order of the Mumbai bench of the National Company Law Tribunal on October 1, 2026, before being designated to the top leadership role. His tenure will run for two years from the date of joining.
