Naveen Krishna Yamarthi appointed as Managing Director at AstraZeneca India and Head of GITC Chennai

Naveen Krishna Yamarthi has been appointed as Managing Director at AstraZeneca India and Head of GITC Chennai. He will lead the centre’s next phase of growth as a multi-functional innovation hub, supporting AstraZeneca’s Bold Ambition 2030. His focus will be on strengthening technology capabilities, innovation and digital transformation. Before this appointment, Naveen served as Head of GITC and VP – IT at AstraZeneca India. He previously worked as Managing Director and Head of GTC at Enlighted, a Siemens company, where he established and scaled global technology centres. Earlier, he held the role of Director – Operations IT at AstraZeneca India and served as Director – Global Supply Chain Technology and Innovation at Flex.
