Padmanabh (Paddy) Sinha appointed as Managing Director & CEO of MO Alternates at Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd

Padmanabh (Paddy) Sinha has been appointed as Managing Director & CEO of MO Alternates at Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd, effective November 11, 2026. He brings extensive experience in private equity, investment management and business leadership. In his new role, he will lead the company’s Alternates business, drawing on his expertise in building investment platforms and driving portfolio growth. Before this appointment, Paddy served as Managing Partner and Co-GP at LaunchBay Private Equity. He previously held the position of Executive Director and CIO – Private Equity at the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF), where he led private equity investments and value creation initiatives. At Tata Capital, he co-founded and led the Tata Opportunities Fund as Managing Partner, following his role as its Chief Investment Officer. He also served as Chairman of the Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA).
