Persistent Systems has opened its third facility in Hyderabad at Phoenix Equinox, Gachibowli, to support technology programmes for banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) clients. The facility will focus on AI deployment, payments modernisation and cloud platforms, providing dedicated workspaces for delivery teams and client collaboration.

According to Barath Narayanan S S, Global BFSI and Europe Geo Head at Persistent, the new facility will help financial institutions deploy AI while modernising critical business systems. It is designed to strengthen collaboration between Persistent and its clients on technology transformation initiatives.

The expansion adds to Persistent’s existing Hyderabad offices at WaveRock and Sattva Knowledge City, where the company now employs more than 3,000 people. While investment and hiring targets for the new facility remain undisclosed, the move reinforces Hyderabad’s role as a growing technology and financial services hub.
