Samiran Sinha Ray has been elevated to Executive Director – Corporate Social Responsibility, Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation & Resettlement at NTPC Limited. He will oversee key functions related to corporate social responsibility, land acquisition, and rehabilitation and resettlement, building on his extensive leadership experience across human resources and power sector operations.

Samiran also serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at NEEPCO India. During his career at NTPC Limited, he has held several leadership positions, including Executive Director – Human Resources, Regional Head of Human Resources for the Northern and Eastern regions, Chief General Manager, and General Manager. He has also led human resources functions at the Barh and Farakka projects and headed a major Learning & Development Centre. His professional journey includes leadership responsibilities at Bharatiya Rail Bijlee Company Limited and NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited (NSPCL). His expertise spans HR leadership, organisational development, learning and development, and corporate operations.
