Sanjeeb Mallick Appointed AVP – Logistics at BS Sponge Limited

Sanjeeb Mallick has been appointed as Assistant Vice President – Logistics at BS Sponge Limited, part of BS Group. With extensive experience across steel, cement, and automotive industries, he brings strong capabilities in supply chain management, procurement, transportation planning, and logistics cost optimisation.

At BS Group, Sanjeeb leads inbound and outbound logistics across raw materials and finished products, strengthening vendor partnerships and coordinating road, rail, and import-export operations. His initiatives have delivered logistics cost savings, lower inventory levels through just-in-time management, improved shipment security, and double-digit reductions in turnaround time.

Previously, he served as General Manager – Logistics at Balasore Alloys Limited, Deputy General Manager – Logistics at Jindal India Limited, Assistant General Manager – Logistics at Orissa Metaliks, and Manager – Logistics at Shree Cement and Ramkrishna Forgings. Earlier, he held logistics and materials planning roles at Cummins India and Tata Cummins, building a comprehensive foundation in procurement, dispatch, inventory control, and supply chain operations.
